Every month since Bo was born, he has had a hair cut...you would think he would be used to them! BUT, every time we go to get his hair cut, I need a small army to hold him down. He screams and kicks and fights until everyone involved is covered in black hair and sweat before we are done. Then with a apologetic announcement, we exit the hair cutting establishment, vowing to only return when he HAS to have a hair cut again! After talking it up for about 6 weeks...we returned...he promised no crying with the hopes of a treat after the hair cut was over. We went with high hopes but thinking he would back out! We had to wait for a while and continued to pump his confidence up that he could do it! He kept reassuring me, "No crying Mommy!"...

The time came and to my surprise he actually sat in the chair all by himself! A little freaked out at first, he soon realizing that he could DO IT!!! What a big boy! "No crying Mommy...No crying Mommy" He kept repeating this over and over again...almost trying to convince himself he could do it!
Way to go Bo Bo, I am so proud of you!
What a handsome boy!

This is really sweet, Carrie. The expressions on Bowen's face are priceless--- he is clearly trying so hard to be brave! I love the bottom right corner photo in the mosaic... he looks like such a little man.
What a cutie! My boys still talk about Bowen and they haven't even seen him in months... talk about making an impression!
You are on the ball! Went on your blog expecting to hear about your trip and your already on to current events... He does look so hansome! Kieran noticed that it was the same girl that just gave him a hair cut a week ago. Gotta love Fantasic Sams...
I am SO glad to find your blog! Bowen is so darling and has gotten so big! Our little trip was so fun and we were so glad we got to meet up with you and Cor. I will have to email you the picture from our dinner at Graycliffs. Good old TJ and his short pants!!!
